Job Description
Xpedient is a full-service 3rd party logistics provider. We have experience helping a diverse client base in warehousing services, transportation management, supply chain management, order fulfillment and labor needs. Monday to Friday 4pm to 12:30am $21 per hour Summary Equipment Operator supports warehouse operations by efficiently moving, picking, and storing products using powered industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a cherry picker and using an RF scanner to manage inventory. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Roles and Responsibilities Operate powered industrial equipment, primarily cherry pickers, in a safe and efficient manner Pick products from racking systems and transport them to the dock for shipment Put away inbound product by moving items from the dock to designated storage locations Accurately scan, pick, and put away items using an RF gun or handheld scanner Follow warehouse layout plans to ensure efficient product handling and inventory tracking Perform daily equipment safety checks and report any maintenance issues Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards. Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed. Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and MSDS standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment required. Familiarity with warehouse operations and RF scanning technology. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (up to 10 feet). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required. Current certification for operating powered industrial trucks (PIT). (preferred) Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment. (preferred)
