Job Duties Operate a cherry picker to pick orders RF scanner, and retrieve and place materials on racks for production or inventory purposes. Safely transport finished goods, raw materials, and packaging supplies. Assist with loading and unloading pallets and trucks as needed. Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in proper working condition. Complete inventory management tasks such as scanning and tracking material movement. Use battery-operated hand tools when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including staging and storage zones. Follow all safety guidelines and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial. Experience Requirements 6 months of experience operating cherry pickers or similar powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to retrieve, transport, and store inventory at elevated rack locations. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment inspections. Ability to accurately identify inventory, locations, and shipping documentation. Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety. Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Current certification or experience operating cherry pickers, order pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts is beneficial. Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Order Picker. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and safely operate powered industrial equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights while operating cherry picker equipment. Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment and moving inventory while following established safety procedures.
