Job Description :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with order entry. The ideal candidate will have experience with data entry and a strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review customer purchase orders and order hand-off information and accurately enter sales orders for distributed products into our systems. Prepare and distribute shipment paperwork to support accurate execution of sales orders. Enter purchase orders and material transfers for components needed to complete orders and issue orders to external suppliers. Communicate with external suppliers to monitor delivery dates. Send Sales Order Acknowledgements to customers and communicate order updates. Complete requests for new customers, bill-to/ship-to addresses, and vendors. Assist with changes and updates to sales orders and purchase orders. Provide prompt follow-up to customer order needs, inquiries, and non-technical issues. Engage the appropriate resources to resolve order fulfillment issues. Follow established order fulfillment processes related to product availability and production determination.
Preferred Experience:
Dynamics or other ERP system experience is preferred but not required. Previous customer service or administrative experience supporting business processes and customer needs within an order execution environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Must pass background and drug screen.
