Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Freezer Order Picker to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing frozen product orders for shipment while working in sub-zero temperatures. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick customer orders accurately using handheld scanners or pick sheets. Work in a freezer environment (typically -10°F to -20°F). Build pallets safely and securely with picked products. Wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipment. Operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts (if certified). Conduct quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are picked. Follow all safety and cold storage protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the freezer area. Meet productivity and accuracy standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior warehouse or order picking experience (preferred). Ability to work in extremely cold environments for extended periods. Physically able to lift up to [50 lbs] and perform repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift or pallet jack certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Work environment in cold storage (freezer temperatures as low as -20°F). Must wear appropriate cold weather gear (provided by employer). Standing, walking, bending, lifting for extended periods.
