ORDER ENTRY SPECIALIST

Design Job Summary:
The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering customer orders into the company system while ensuring pricing, quantities, and calculations are correct. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent math skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fastâ€'paced environment. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system
  • Verify product pricing, quantities, discounts, taxes, and totals
  • Perform mathematical calculations to ensure order accuracy
  • Review orders for errors and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Communicate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams as needed
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date order records
  • Process order changes, returns, and cancellations accurately
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and basic calculations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with numbers for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or order processing systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in order entry, data entry, or administrative roles
  • Familiarity with order management software
  • Experience in a sales and office environment
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced, detail-oriented role
