In this role, you will serve as an important link between our OEM customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately, customer needs are addressed promptly, and information is communicated clearly throughout the order lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include processing customer orders and order changes in accordance with established policies and procedures while ensuring that orders align with contract pricing, commitments, and applicable requirements. You will respond to customer requests for order status, product information, and other inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. You will generate sales quotations and order acknowledgements following receipt of formal purchase orders and create and maintain reports for OEM customers, including forecasts, revenue-to-goal reporting, and other relevant business metrics. You will work closely with the production team to coordinate schedule priorities and address customer concerns, as well as export and merge ERP data from customer and internal systems into Excel-based reports. You will prepare and deliver order status reports to OEM customers ahead of customer meetings, maintain OEM-specific price lists, and ensure customer orders comply with Bluefors' export compliance requirements. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve customer needs and support the overall customer experience, along with performing other duties as assigned. We are looking for someone with a strong customer and client focus who can build productive relationships while effectively managing multiple priorities. You should have excellent time-management, organizational, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and training materials. Computer literacy, including basic data entry and data-processing capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, is required. You should also demonstrate strong attention to detail, dependability, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills. A high school diploma or GED with at least three years of related experience and/or training, an associate degree or equivalent with at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. This role involves working in both office and manufacturing environments and requires the ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with the position while following all required safety procedures and PPE requirements. We also appreciate candidates who bring strong Microsoft Excel skills and previous experience working with ERP and CRM systems, as these capabilities will help you efficiently manage customer information, reporting, order data, and business processes. Bilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in a role supporting diverse customers and working across functions.
