Job Title:
Order Selector Job Description The Order Selector accurately picks and moves products within a busy warehouse environment using an RF scanner and Raymond forklift equipment. This role requires consistent heavy lifting, attention to detail, and safe operation of material handling equipment to ensure orders are completed efficiently and correctly. Responsibilities Use an RF scanner to accurately select and pick products according to order requirements. Operate a Raymond forklift and other reach equipment such as swing reach, reach forklift, reach truck, and reach lift to move and stage inventory. Perform heavy lifting of products and materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Work in a warehouse environment to complete order picking, packing, and general material handling tasks. Follow warehouse management system (WMS) processes to locate, scan, and record inventory movements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals. Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or safety concerns promptly. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience utilizing an RF scanner in a warehouse or similar environment. At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift, preferably Raymond or similar equipment. Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 pounds for at least 1 year in a previous role. Experience working in a warehouse setting with order picking and packing responsibilities. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work accurately with inventory and order details. Commitment to safe equipment operation and adherence to warehouse safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory. Experience in order selector, order picker, or packer positions. Experience operating swing reach, reach forklift, reach truck, or reach lift equipment. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with performance and accuracy targets. Strong reliability and willingness to work a consistent afternoon and evening schedule. Why Work Here? Work is performed on the warehouse floor using RF scanners, Raymond forklifts, and reach equipment, with frequent heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hialeah, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
