In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring timely packing and shipping of orders. Duties Use RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to accurately pick and verify orders for shipment Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Stock shelves, organize inventory, and ensure proper placement of products within the warehouse distribution area Pack items securely following packaging standards to prevent damage during transit Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy before packing and shipping Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using warehouse management systems and inventory management software Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and shipping & receiving procedures Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, manual handling, PPE use, and warehouse safety standards Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Order Picker and become a vital part of our dedicated team!
