Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry & Product Support Associate to join our team. This role is heavily focused on accurate order processing and data entry, while also supporting product-related inquiries and quality documentation. You'll play a critical role in ensuring orders are entered correctly, customer requests are handled efficiently, and internal teams have the information they need to deliver a high-quality customer experience. Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Entry & Data Management (Primary Focus) Accurately enter and process high volumes of customer orders within the ERP system Maintain and update order records, ensuring completeness and accuracy Review orders and documentation for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Manage data entry for product and quality-related records Customer & Product Support Serve as a point of contact for product inquiries and order-related questions Respond to customer requests via phone and email in a professional, timely manner Coordinate returns, exchanges, and credits in line with company processes Quality & Documentation Support Create and track quality-related inquiries from submission through resolution Assist in compiling documentation such as reports, contract reviews, and investigation summaries Maintain organized records for product and quality documentation Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve issues Coordination & Collaboration Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and issue resolution Handle a high volume of requests while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail Support reporting, tracking, and administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in order entry, customer support, or a similar role Experience working in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred Hands-on experience with ERP systems (order management, data entry) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data and order entry Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong communication and organizational skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
