Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our team in Mequon, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire customer order lifecycle- accurately entering and managing customer orders within our database systems. You'll serve as a key liaison between sales, vendors and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with data, and values being a critical part of a team's operational success. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input customer orders, changes, and cancellations into business system
- Verify order details including pricing, product availability, and customer information
- Act as the primary point of contact for order status, updates, and issue resolution with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Communicate with customers and vendors via phone and email regarding order status, shipping timelines, and delays
- Coordinate with vendors and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders
- Generate and maintain documentation such as sales orders, purchase orders, order tracking documents, and shipping documentation Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or related fields (manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, or wholesale preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems (NetSuite) is a plus
- College Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent typing and data entry skills (alphanumeric) Work Environment
- Fast-paced office setting
- On-site only (no remote work)
