Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Selector, where your energy and precision will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment, utilize warehouse management systems, and execute accurate picking and packing processes to ensure timely delivery of products. Hours are 4 am - 1p Duties Operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse. Use inventory management systems to accurately pick, pack, and verify orders. Execute order fulfillment tasks by selecting items from shelves according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials while adhering to quality control standards. Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory management, and regular cycle counts using warehouse management systems. Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing manual handling techniques, and operating heavy equipment responsibly. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while ensuring proper documentation and inventory updates. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other heavy machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Strong understanding of order picking & packing procedures along with shipping & receiving protocols. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
