SECOR is a leading distributor of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Pipe and McElroy Fusion Equipment and a manufacturer of custom-fabricated fittings. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to manage the daily flow of sales orders from start to finish. This role is critical to ensure all orders are processed accurately, prioritized appropriately, and shipped on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment, communicates effectively across departments, and takes ownership of ensuring no order falls through the cracks. This position is expected to process all sales order shipments from start to finish , ensuring orders are prioritized and shipped on time. Order folders should be empty at the end of each day, and all shipments must be accurate, complete, and on time. The ultimate goal of this position is simple: every order ships correctly, every day.   • Coordinate sales orders from processing through shipment.
  • Communicate daily shipping priorities with Warehouse and Sales personnel.
  • Assist in the daily management of warehouse employees by communicating work priorities, coordinating workflow, monitoring productivity, addressing operational issues, and ensuring orders are pulled, prepared, and shipped accurately and on time.
  • Monitor open and expected orders and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Print pick tickets and backorder picks.
  • Verify orders are pulled, palletized, and loaded correctly.
  • Track and manage will-call orders.
  • Maintain the shipping calendar and shipment records.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly order reports.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute daily and weekly sales order reports, including: o Daily Sales Order Report (Morning) o Daily Promise Date Report (Lunch) o Weekly Open Sales Order Report
  • Identify and communicate inventory shortages, order discrepancies, and potential delays.
  • Ensure the Open Order Report is kept current and accurate.
  • Request MTRs, COCs, and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate with Accounting to ensure orders are approved before shipment.
  • Communicate shipment updates and delays to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain clear status of all orders at the end of each day.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in order management, logistics, warehouse administration, shipping, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and email.
  • Experience with ERP, inventory, shipping, or order management systems preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Job Type:
Full-time / Exempt Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Weekends and extra hours as needed
