We are looking for an Order Entry Specialist to join a manufacturing team in Hartland, Wisconsin in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable managing order information, shipping paperwork, and inventory updates in a fast-paced setting. The position plays a key part in keeping customer orders accurate, shipments moving on schedule, and internal records up to date.

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter customer purchase orders into QuickBooks and verify all details before processing. Create shipping paperwork through QuickBooks Shipping Manager, including labels, invoices, and packing documentation. Organize and prepare shipment-related documents for the production team so orders can be picked, finished, and sent out efficiently. Handle return authorizations and record returned items with accuracy and timeliness. Receive incoming inventory and update stock records within QuickBooks to maintain reliable data. Monitor order, shipping, and inventory information to ensure records remain complete and current. Review incoming and existing order details, identify discrepancies, and take steps to resolve issues promptly. Provide general administrative assistance related to order management and support other operational tasks as needed. At least 1 year of experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative support role. Strong keyboarding and numeric data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Experience using computer-based order processing systems; familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining close attention to detail. Comfortable working with shipping documents, inventory records, and customer order information. Solid organizational and problem-solving skills to address data discrepancies effectively. Dependable communication skills and the ability to work well within a manufacturing or operations environment.
