Job Description
Job Overview Waseem Anwar LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to support daily packaging, order preparation, and shipping activities. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable performing hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Packaging Assistant will help prepare products for shipment, package orders securely, apply labels, and ensure completed packages are ready for timely delivery. Training will be provided, and previous packaging or warehouse experience is not required. Responsibilities Assist with daily packaging and order preparation Prepare products for shipment according to order requirements Select appropriate boxes, envelopes, and protective packaging materials Pack items securely to help prevent damage during transportation Verify product quantities and order information before packing Apply shipping labels and other required package information Inspect packages for accuracy and proper presentation Organize completed orders in designated shipping areas Keep the packing station clean and organized Monitor and replenish packaging supplies Assist with sorting and organizing products and materials Report damaged products, missing items, or order discrepancies Follow company safety and packaging procedures Assist with other fulfillment and warehouse tasks as needed Requirements Previous packaging or warehouse experience is not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Basic computer skills Dependable attendance and a positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift packages during the workday About the Position The Packaging Assistant helps ensure customer orders are packed accurately, securely, and efficiently. This position is a good fit for someone who is dependable, organized, and interested in gaining practical experience in packaging, order fulfillment, shipping, inventory handling, and warehouse operations.
