2nd Shift Production Packer

Summary:

The Packer is responsible for preparing products for shipment by packaging, labeling, and assembling goods according to order specifications. This role ensures accurate, safe, and timely handling of materials while maintaining company standards for cleanliness and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Package, label, and wrap goods daily to ensure proper and secure shipment.
• Assemble goods into boxes, buckets, skids, and other containers; accurately match orders to proper locations.
• Safely operate hand tools, hand trucks, and pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; ensure tools and equipment are functioning properly.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the shipping and distribution process.

Skills Required:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Basic reading and math skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools
• Capable of communicating effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with coworkers, supervisors, and other employees.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
