Job Description
Clean Room Operator First Shift - Sorrento Valley - $19/hr Job Description The Clean Room Operator is responsible for producing finished packaged and/or labeled clinical products, including kits, in accordance with batch instructions and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles. The role requires strict adherence to established specifications and good documentation practices. Responsibilities Produce finished packaged and/or labeled products to established specifications. Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Document all work and follow good documentation practices. Collaborate effectively with other operators. Essential Skills Experience with good documentation practices. Comfortable with technology, including smart sheets and ERP systems. Proficient in data entry into Excel. Experience in pharmaceuticals and medical devices is advantageous. Cleanroom inspection experience. Hand dexterity. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous pharmaceutical clinical packaging and/or labeling experience is desirable. Good manual dexterity. Knowledge and understanding of cGMP. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with 15-minute breaks and a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Weekend work is minimal, and overtime is voluntary, usually requested from one team. The cleanroom requires gowning, shoe covers, hair nets, and beard nets. Nail polish and piercings must be covered. Work in cold rooms is limited to 15-minute intervals, and jackets are provided or personal jackets can be used. The team culture is familial, with shared lunches and frequent potlucks, emphasizing collaboration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
