Job Overview American Plant Exchange is looking for a dependable Live Plant Packaging Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position focused on preparing and packaging live plants for shipment to customers across the country. You'll help pull orders, prepare boxes, package plants safely and securely, assist with inventory, and keep the work area organized. We're looking for someone who works efficiently, pays attention to detail, follows instructions, and takes pride in doing the job right. Duties Pull plants accurately for customer orders Read and match plant labels correctly Prepare and assemble boxes for packing Pack live plants properly and securely for shipment Handle plants carefully while working at a steady, fast pace Load packed plants, boxes, and plant material onto trailers Receive and unpack incoming plants from boxes or bags Place incoming plants in the correct designated areas Assist with inventory by accurately counting plants Organize plant material and maintain a clean work area Use a pallet jack when necessary Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads Help clean and reset work areas throughout the day Stay focused, positive, and willing to help wherever needed Qualifications / Desired Experience Prior experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Nursery, greenhouse, horticulture, or other plant-related experience Warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution experience Packing and shipping experience, especially e-commerce orders Experience handling live plants or other fragile products Order picking, packing, and inventory experience Experience working in a fast-paced production or fulfillment environment Basic plant identification knowledge If you're dependable, enjoy staying active, and take pride in accurate, quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
