Packing Specialist - Moving Company

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to carefully organize boxes with labeling and inventory tracking. Ability to utilize basic math. Physically able to safely lift 25-50-Lbs (Large boxes when prepping for a next day move). Physically able to go up and down stairs continously for hours. Highly detail orientated. High standards for cleanliness and presentation. Patient, respectful, and professional in family homes. Problem-solving skills. Time management. Comfortable working in family and senior living environments. Reliable transportation.

Part time hours:

16-32 hours per week Valid driver's license with clean drivng record. Prefer 1 year of packing/prepping/unpacking experience in the moving and delivery industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Responsible for safe and efficient packing & unpacking operations of the company including prepping of client's personal and/or business property. Responsible for labeling boxes/packages accurately. Responsible to meet packing deadlines. May also be tasked with inspecting items for damage and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Held accountable for safe and secure packing that minimize potential damage and/or injuries. Responsible for the daily inventory checklists (packing material). Held accountable for a positive customer service relationship and communication with the company's clients, which includes daily phone and face to face interactions. Responsible to maintain a constant and clear stream of communication via text and calls with the office staff and management. Responsible for assessing the time requirements and manpower needs on packing assignments once on site and informing management of any major discrepancies, as necessary. Responsible for collecting payments when needed, managing paperwork, and organizing job assignments. Accountable for the use and security of company property assigned to them
