Job Description
Objective Maintain a consistent flow of incoming and outgoing damaged product. Sort, wash, and repack product in proper cartons approved for resale. Responsibilities/Expectation Must be certified on pallet jack and forklift. Must be clean shaven and have proper hygiene. Must wear steel-toed boots at all times in the warehouse. Must always wear safety glasses in damage area. Repacks cartons of beer/soda damaged in packaging: Removes containers, such as bottles or cans, from damaged or unclean cartons and places containers in another carton. All good product in damaged cases must be washed and dried before being repacked. Seals new containers with hot glue gun. Duplicates code date found on damaged case using electronic label maker. On repacked product, makes sure that the oldest date per unit is displayed on the outside of the repacked product. Positions code date label in designated area on new package. Move repacked product to designated cart to be put back into inventory and to proper location. Refills bin location in the system. Must inventory and order repack as needed. All product left on shelf must be checked for fresh dates. Ensures the separation of alcoholic products from nonalcoholic products within the Damage Area. Must maintain a clean and safe work area. Make sure safety glasses are always used. Must successfully complete the MillerCoors Distributor Quality Audit Program.
