Market Leader in Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a dependable person to work in our Packing department. Able to stand for whole shift, lift 40+ pounds, and work in non-air conditioned environment. Must have good math and measuring skills. Valid driver's license is required to operate forklift. OT/Weekends are required during peak/busy time periods. Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment. Inspects metal and counts pieces. Packs metal according to printed customer specifications. Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles. Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs. Maintains clean and orderly workplace. Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor. Performance is measured against established productivity goals.
