Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Packer/Empacador to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specified standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products are securely packed, labeled correctly, and handled in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient flow of production and distribution processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment efficiently, ensuring products are packed according to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Interpret production documents and work instructions accurately to meet packaging specifications. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to resolve operational issues promptly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols in production areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Perform quality checks on packed products to verify correct labeling, quantity, and packaging integrity. Assist in warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing inventory, and preparing items for shipment. Follow GMP and FDA regulations diligently to ensure compliance during all packaging activities. Support manufacturing processes through assembly tasks when required. Document production activities accurately, maintaining clear records for traceability and audit purposes. Qualifications Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of packaging equipment operation and industrial equipment troubleshooting. Familiarity with
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations related to manufacturing and packaging. Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and documentation accuracy. Mechanical knowledge applicable to troubleshooting packaging machinery. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards in production settings. Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance.
