Job Title:

Packaging Operator $19.50 - 21+ Shift hours are 6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, and 6pm-6:30am on weekends. Job Description The Packaging Operator is responsible for the final packaging of various flavors including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts. This role involves working closely with others to ensure batches are packaged with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. Responsibilities Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Record operational and production data on specified forms. Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and sit down forklifts. Understand the impact and importance of food safety in our products. Communicate any food safety concerns to shift leads or management. Follow SOPs including sanitation of equipment after each batch. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a food GMP environment is a plus. Ability to manage tasks that require lifting up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
