Hatch Product Development is at the forefront of innovation, turning ideas into reality. We're looking for a dedicated Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team in Wauconda, IL. If you're a professional with a passion for assisting in the development process and troubleshooting in an engineering environment, we want to hear from you. As an Electronics Technician at Hatch, you will support engineering projects by installing, testing, and maintaining electronics on embedded systems and components. You will work closely with engineers to ensure electrical designs are implemented correctly, assist in prototype testing, and provide technical troubleshooting to ensure high-quality project delivery.

PCBA Review and Troubleshooting:

Assist in visually inspecting printed PCBA's (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to identify obvious defects or assembly issues.

Rework and Soldering:

Soldering, rework, and use of a heat gun on electronic circuit boards.

Component Research and Procurement:

Help research and gather information on electronic parts by reviewing datasheets and manufacturer info.

Test Execution and Reporting:

Use basic test tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes under guidance.

Lab Equipment Maintenance:

You'll be responsible for the proper use and maintenance of electrical engineering lab equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree or equivalent on the job training. Hands-on experience related to electronics, soldering, or electrical assembly required. Willingness to learn and grow technical skills on the job. Basic understanding of electronic components and circuit boards (PCBs) Team player who can follow directions and work collaboratively.
