Jake's Fireworks Starting pay: $13/hour Position Summary Jake's Fireworks is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our Pittsburg, KS distribution team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick and pull fireworks products based on customer orders and pick tickets Verify product quantities, descriptions, and packaging for accuracy Prepare and stage orders for shipment or delivery Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed Maintain clean and organized picking areas and warehouse aisles Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of fireworks and hazardous materials Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to supervisors Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily goals Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus Ability to read and understand pick tickets, invoices, and basic instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse setting Seasonal fluctuations in workload, with peak demand leading up to major fireworks holidays Must follow all safety regulations related to fireworks storage and handling Schedule Immediate full-time, seasonal positions available Overtime may be required during peak seasons Why Join Jake's Fireworks?
