Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload freight
- Verify quantity and quality of order received against the packing slip
- Document and prepare damage claims for supervisor's review and signature
- Review all shipping documents to verify they are accurate and complete
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Package, wrap and secure product for shipment
- Applies Labels and other identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers
- Use power tools or hand tools to assemble wooden crates or cardboard containers
