JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Packer plays an important role in our Distribution Center. In this role you will manage day-to-day stock operations, including receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, updating inventory logs, and keeping the facility safe and organized. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Order Processing:

Read order slips, verify orders using scanners and warehouse management software

Packaging:

Select appropriate box sizes, wrapping materials, and padding to protect goods from damage during transit

Labeling and Staging:

Weigh packages, attach correct shipping labels and move finished orders

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift/move cartons up to 45lbs regularly throughout the shift.

High accuracy in matching product numbers and quantities to prevent shipping errors.

Time Management:

Ability to maintain speed and meet daily productivity quotas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Regularly remain in a stationary position and move about the distribution center for extended periods (including standing and walking for most of the workday)
• Frequently position self to pack, label, inspect, and move shipping cartons
• Regularly transport packages and materials, including lifting and moving cartons weighing up to 50+ pounds
• Perform repetitive motions related to packing, labeling, scanning, and sorting shipments
• Occasionally ascend/descend stairs or ladders within the distribution center
• Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, noise from equipment, and active material movement
• Maintain a work pace sufficient to meet daily shipping deadlines This is a full-time, on-site position, schedule 7am-3pm.

The hourly range for this position is $17-17.50 per hour, based on what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay.
