Job Title:

Packer Job Description As a Packer, you will be responsible for inspecting products for quality defects and ensuring they meet industry standards and customer specifications. You will accurately label products and packages for shipment, ensuring proper identification and inventory tracking. Additionally, you will stack packaged products efficiently to prevent damage and make optimal use of space while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Inspect products for quality defects and ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications. Accurately label products and packages for shipment, ensuring proper identification and inventory tracking. Stack packaged products in a manner that avoids damage and ensures efficient use of space. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times. Assist with material handling and movement of packages to staging areas or shipping docks. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitor packaging material levels and report shortages to supervisors. Participate in inventory control and stock monitoring for packaging materials. Essential Skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs consistently. Capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Skills in machine troubleshooting and maintenance. Forklift operation experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sutton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
