Reports To:
Floor Supervisor Job Summary We are looking for an energetic, dependable Warehouse Packager to join our crew in Mount Morris. Let's be honest: this isn't your typical, rigid warehouse job, and you probably have to be a little crazy to work with us! One day you might be dialed into a single, repetitive rhythm, and the next you'll be juggling multiple tasks on the fly. No previous warehouse experience? No problem at all—we will teach you everything you need to know as long as you bring a great attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a willingness to hustle.
Key Responsibilities Quality Control:
Inspect every item carefully to catch defects or issues before products leave the building.
Counting & Tagging:
Accurately count inventory items, attach tags, and ensure every batch is 100% accounted for.
Labeling & Wrapping:
Securely wrap items and apply precise labels according to instructions (no complex digital scanners or complicated work lists to stress over).
Pacing & Adaptability:
Seamlessly shift gears between fast-paced multitasking days and focused, repetitive packaging days.
Palletizing & Staging:
Stack and wrap finished products securely to prep them for safe transport.
Teamwork:
Work closely with the floor supervisor and fellow crew members to keep the floor organized, safe, and moving efficiently.
Qualifications No Experience Required:
We provide full on-the-job training from day one.
Detail-Oriented Mindset:
Strong eye for detail when it comes to counting, tagging, and catching flaws.
Adaptable Energy:
Comfortable with variety—able to thrive whether the day calls for heads-down repetitive work or quick multitasking.
Physical Capability:
Ability to stand, bend, and move for the duration of a 10-hour shift, and comfortably lift up to 40-50 lbs.
Reliability:
A solid work ethic and reliable attendance are essential.
Compensation & Benefits Starting Wage:
$16.00 per hour, with regular opportunities for performance and tenure increases.
