Temporary position; hours may vary based on store setup needs Position Overview We are looking for dependable, energetic individuals to join our team for the setup of a new Ace Hardware store . This temporary position will assist with getting the store ready to open, including stocking, organizing, merchandising, and preparing products and displays throughout the store. This is a hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with a team, and seeing a project come together from start to finish. Responsibilities Assist with setting up and preparing a new Ace Hardware store for opening Stock and organize merchandise throughout the store Merchandise products according to established layouts and guidelines Set up shelves, displays, signage, and promotional areas Unpack, sort, and place incoming merchandise Maintain organized and clean sales floor areas Help ensure products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed Move and arrange merchandise as needed Assist with general store setup and preparation Work as part of a team to meet store-opening deadlines Perform other tasks related to store setup and merchandising as assigned Qualifications Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organization Able to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise as needed Previous retail, merchandising, stocking, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and help us build something new!
