Job Description

Reports to: Department Supervisor at specific
Business Unit FLSA Status:
Non-exempt Schedule:
1st Shift (4am-2pm M-Th) & 2nd Shift (2pm-12am M-Th) Summary of duties and responsibilities: Perform all packing functions within the shipping/receiving department involved in the manufacturing and assembly processes of Modineer Company. Packing includes, but is not limited to, inspecting, packing, maintain packing area, creating and physical labeling of totes, production paperwork, as well as other associated duties as assigned. Employees must follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
1. Inspect product for paint defects and to ensure part is correct to the print 2. Pack product into customer packaging per pack specifications 3. Maintain required hourly flow rate to ensure efficiency in pack area. 4. Label product with customer required labels and audit other teams 5. Team members label to ensure correct label and part number 6. Enter required information into labels to maintain traceability. 7. Complete paperwork as required for inspection results on incoming product. Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge: 1. Experience in Quality Inspection is a PLUS 2. Experience in Material Handling is a PLUS 3. Experience in Inventory Control is a PLUS 4. Computer Skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite 5. Excellent Attendance, Attitude, and Skill are Critical 6. Strong Attention to detail and follow-through. 7. Must be able to work in a team environment.
Physical environment/working conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. Other (e.g., customer contact or access to confidential information): Must be able to work as part of a team.
