Join a leading global company Join our global leading business offering outstanding personal development & global career opportunities Be part of a group that is safety driven and values inclusion About the role We are looking for a Packaging Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting Lithium hydroxide in bags, drums, and supersacks per customer requirements. This is a temporary position that will last approximately 6 months. This is a great opportunity to meet customer requirements in support of the Lithium Hydroxide production areas. Reporting to the Quality Program Manager and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment, you will: Responsible for ensuring proper packaging and labeling per customer and regulatory requirements. Responsible for inspection and upkeep of safety related equipment and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and orderliness in the packaging inspection area. Operates forklift to move packaging material to and from the Line 1 and Line 2 packaging areas. Responsible for operating forklifts, power tools, and specialized equipment outlined in SOPs in the performance of their assigned tasks. Maintains inventory of packaging materials. About you A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two-year degree desired. Six months' experience in manufacturing environment. Skilled in operating all area equipment and had the ability to run more than one unit at a time when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Uses the computer to accurately enter information and data into Rio Tinto business systems (SAP, Cority, MOC).
