Hire & Start Night Shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Job Description The packer plays a key role on the production line by safely removing finished protective packaging products from machines, inspecting them for quality, and packing them accurately into bags and cartons. This position supports smooth production flow, maintains a clean and safe work area, and collaborates with team members to keep operations running efficiently. Responsibilities Remove finished protective packaging items, such as bubble cushioning and mailers, from production machines in a safe and efficient manner. Take finished items off the machine line carefully, following all safety procedures and guidelines. Place product labels correctly and pack goods into bags, cartons, or other designated containers. Pack products accurately into the correct boxes or bags according to production instructions and labeling requirements. Check items for basic quality flaws and perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet standards. Help keep the work area safe, clean, and organized by following housekeeping and safety practices. Assist team members as needed and provide coverage during breaks to maintain consistent production flow. Handle materials and load items onto or off the production line as required to support ongoing operations. Essential Skills Experience with packing, production, or packaging work on a production line. Ability to perform material handling and loading tasks safely and efficiently. High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic math skills to count, verify quantities, and follow simple measurements. Basic English reading skills to understand labels, instructions, and safety information. Ability to stand or walk for long shifts, up to 12 hours. Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Pay:
