Warehouse Picker and Packer Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and processing samples in a warehouse environment, ensuring each order is handled with precision and delivered on time. You will play a key part in maintaining efficient inventory flow and supporting daily fulfillment operations. Responsibilities Pick samples and products from warehouse inventory with a high degree of accuracy. Pack orders securely and neatly to ensure items arrive in excellent condition. Process samples and orders according to established procedures and timelines. Handle order picking and warehouse packing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Maintain organized workstations and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness. Follow written instructions in English and accurately read and analyze documents, reports, and computer screens. Lift and move boxes and materials weighing up to 40-50 pounds as part of daily tasks. Stand for extended periods while performing picking, packing, and processing activities. Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices while working in the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to meet productivity, quality, and on-time delivery goals. Essential Skills Demonstrated warehouse experience, including working with inventory and fulfillment operations. Hands-on picking and packing experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment. Ability to perform order picking and warehouse packing efficiently and accurately. Capability to read and analyze documents, reports, and computer screens in English. Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift. Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds safely and repeatedly. Comfort working in humid and hot environments in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse. Must have a personal vehicle to commute to and from work. Ability to speak and read English to follow instructions and communicate effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in fulfillment centers is a plus. Experience with general warehouse inventory processes is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in picking and packing. Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse setting and operates on a first shift schedule from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role requires standing for extended periods and regularly lifting up to 40-50 pounds. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
