Receive products from suppliers and accurately count into inventory. Must have ability to operate forklift or other type of warehouse equipment. Must ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized. Must be able to follow all written and verbal specifications by performing (but not limited to) the following duties: Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying packing instructions, part specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, packing, and materials. Complete paperwork verifying counts and accuracy of products received from vendors and shipped to customers. Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed. Education and/or Experience High school diploma (or equivalent)
Forklift:
1 year (Required) Picking & packing: 1 year (Required) License/Certification
  • Driver's License (Required) Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively. Computer Skills Basic knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software helpful. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in parts picking and packing preferred
  • Proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Familiarity with distribution center operations is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory effectively Schedule 8 hour shift: 6:00 am
