Identify the different types of materials; sheets (pick them up individually and flip them over one by one), top frames (restacking 2-3 at a time unto another pallet), and pallets (using a flashlight to thoroughly inspect). Follow inspection criteria as monitored on SOP's and Policies. Remove Damaged/ Scrap material and place on a separate pallet using ID Scrap tags to mark the pallet. If needed clean both sides of sheets using 99% Isopropyl Alcohol from approved, clearly labeled spray bottles on special cleaning sheets (for top frames and pallets use a damp cloth with water ONLY, and or a dust off with a broom) removing transferable contamination and ensure that all product is completely dry before stacking. All sheets must go through the machines after the special cleaning/ and sorting process is completed. Record all quantities for materials removed and the description of special cleaning accurately and completely on the related forms providing accurate data at all times. Communicate excessive amounts to the Site Manager, Shift Lead as soon as possible. Always Follow Safety rules as instructed wear the required PPE. Keep warehouse and workstations/ work areas (free from rags and alcohol bottles not in use) clean and tidy/ Clean as you go. Remember to work according to GMP's and SQF requirements. Duties & Responsibilities:
Material Sorting:
Responsible for separating and rearranging mixed stacks of material, ensuring different types of material are identified and stacked individually. Ensure compliance with
CTPS-SOP-20-B016
for material sorting.
Damage Inspection:
Identify and separate damaged material. Inspect both sides of the material to ensure quality in line with the SOP.
Record Keeping:
Document the time, date, quantities, and any findings on the provided performance record sheet, in accordance with
CTPS-SOP-20-B016.
Communication:
Coordinate with forklift drivers to ensure the sorted material is transferred when completed.
Cleanliness and Safety:
Follow PPE requirements (gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes) and maintain cleanliness in the sorting area, adhering to GMP and safety standards outlined in the SOP.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all materials meet acceptable standards for integrity, cleanliness, and safety as specified in the SOP.
Machine Cleaning:
After material sorting, ensure the materials are cleaned using the machine, with a final inspection for moisture and integrity, following the guidelines in
CTPS-SOP-20-B016.
Training Compliance:
Familiarize yourself with CTPS-SOP-20-B016, as well as other related SOPs, policies, and procedures.
