Job description Assembly / Packer Associates will train, no experience necessary. Expanding plastics manufacturer is seeking Assembly / Packer Associates to join our team. An ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assembly/Packer Associate ensures quality standards are being met on all parts prior to assembly. They pack and assemble pieces by following spec sheets and blueprints. You will work effectively with the extrusion operator to ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly production goals are met.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on various stages of the extrusion line
- Performing quality checks on product
- Packaging and assembling finished products and preparing them for shipping
- Keeping work area neat and clean
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Assembly experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
- Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be physically capable of moving quickly between different machines.
- Able to withstand hard and intensive labor
