Freezer Picker-2nd Shift

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for accurately picking product (finished gifts) using an RF scanner in cold storage (-10° to 40°).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick product using a RF scanner in cold storage pulling the correct SKU and quantity Use RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system Palletize product and moves pallet to staging area using a hand-jack Able to meet or exceed production standards Comply with all SQF (safe Quality Food) standards Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance

EDUCATION AND/OOR EXPERIENCE

Some high school education required 6+ months experience working in a distribution center desirable Basic reading and math skills (counting, matching, adding, subtracting, and multiplying) required PC skills or previous inventory scanning equipment experience required

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

Able to work in cold storage for the entire shift (-10° to 40°) Able to walk and stand for the entire shift (10-12 hours) Utilize a hand-jack in a controlled and safe environment Able to lift 20-30 lbs. continuously, and 50lbs. occasionally Able to climb stairs in cooler and freezer Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
