Cardinal Staffing is currently hiring PACKERS for a local Industrial Bakery in Sandusky, OH. Position Summary Looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our production team as Packers. Packers are responsible for ensuring baked goods are properly packaged, labeled, inspected, and prepared for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pack finished baked goods into boxes, bags, trays, or other designated packaging. Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging. Ensure products are correctly labeled and packaged according to company standards. Operate basic packaging equipment and machinery as trained. Assemble and prepare boxes, cartons, and packaging materials. Keep the work area clean, organized, and sanitary. Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a steady production pace while meeting quality standards. Communicate product or equipment issues to supervisors. Assist with other production duties as needed. Work occasional Saturday overtime when production needs require it. Qualifications Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move boxes or product as required. Good attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Previous food production or packaging experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
