Picking, Packing and Shipping Associate This is a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM position. Overview As a Shipping Associate at Blade-Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring finished products are accurately prepared and shipped to our customers on time. Your energetic approach, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will help ensure that every order meets our high standards for accuracy, customer satisfaction, and safety. Duties Pull, verify, weigh, package, bag, box, label, and stage finished products accurately and efficiently according to customer orders and company procedures. Manage lifting tasks up to 50+ pounds safely while adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced factory and warehouse environment. Verify products, quantities, packaging requirements, and customer orders prior to shipment to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Complete required shipping documentation, including shipping labels, packing slips, freight paperwork, inventory transactions, and other required records. Conduct quality checks on finished products and packaging to identify visible defects, damaged products, incorrect quantities, or labeling issues prior to shipment. Communicate shipping discrepancies, inventory concerns, damaged products, equipment issues, and safety concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Maintain accurate inventory by following established product movement and shipping procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse work area, including workstations, staging areas, aisles, and shipping doors. Prioritize assigned shipping tasks and maintain a consistent work pace to meet daily shipping deadlines and customer expectations. Follow established shipping procedures, work instructions, company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for enhanced productivity and workflow. Assist coworkers and other departments with shipping, warehouse, and material-handling tasks as needed. Communicate effectively with Shipping, Inventory, Production, Quality, and Operations personnel. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Participate in cross-training and develop skills in multiple shipping and warehouse functions. Ability to perform repetitive shipping, inspection, sorting, packaging, labeling, and material-handling tasks. Ability to continually stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. May occasionally be required to wear protective clothing or PPE, including gloves, protective eyewear, hearing protection, or other safety equipment. May be exposed to varying temperatures within the work environment.
