Egg Processing (Entry Level) All training is provided. This entry-level role supports egg processing, packing, and general processing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The position plays an essential role in preparing eggs for distribution to retail and food service partners. This includes packing, labeling, and ensuring food safety and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and general physical ability to lift and move products as needed. Candidates should be reliable, safety-minded, and ready to learn. Key Responsibilities The associate supports multiple tasks within the processing area, including: Packing cartons, flats, or cases of eggs using proper packaging materials. Labeling products accurately and confirming dates, codes, and packaging match specifications. Notifying leads or supervisors of label variances, defective product, or equipment issues. Loading and moving cases of eggs and maintaining an organized workspace. Keeping packaging materials stocked and removing damaged materials or foreign objects. Following all safety guidelines, cleanliness standards, and company procedures. Assisting with general processing duties. Requirements Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in variable temperature environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or incorrect packaging. Ability to multitask, communicate clearly with team members, and follow instructions.
