Job Description
Job Responsibilities Operates basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Loads and unloads materials into machinery. Monitors machine operations and reports any issues to the supervisor. Performs routine checks and maintenance of equipment. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Adheres to all safety and company policies. Assists in troubleshooting machine issues. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements Basic understanding of machinery and production processes. Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment. Basic math skills. Computer skills including ERP systems. Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience. Experience Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required. Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50lbs/11-27 kgs) material. Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours). Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours). May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
