Order Picker Operator

Job Description

The equipment operator will help fulfill orders in the warehouse by utilizing warehousing equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. This position will be in the warehouse facility shipping across North America. They should be a motivated team player with a positive attitude and good organizational and communication skills. Individuals should be able to function well in a multi-task environment with attention to detail and willing to accept new and diverse assignments. Candidate must be able to work with all organizational levels, including fellow employees, customers, and management. Role Responsibilites Operate a scanner to track the location of products in the building Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) which requires coordinated movements Work as part of a team Follow work instructions Follow-up on tasks Available Shifts Sunday
  • Wednesday Days 6:00am to 4:30pm Wednesday
  • Saturday Days 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday
  • Thursday Evenings 5:00pm to 3:30am Role Qualifications Must be 18 years or older High school degree or GED a plus Warehousing or manufacturing experience a plus Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus Able to operate department-specific technology to execute job tasks i.
e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required Physical Requirements Able to stand and walk for considerable distance throughout a shift Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights to 50 pounds You should be proficient in: Warehouse Experience cherry picker pallet jack forklift experience
