Non Exempt Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our team. As a Packager, you will be responsible for assembling and packaging products according to company standards and customer specifications. This is a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of our products. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Performing packaging duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting
• Moving product and inventory
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations
• Weighing and counting items for distribution within the plant to ensure they conform to company standards
• Breaking down cardboard for recycling
• Assisting shipping and receiving with unloading trucks and/or overseas containers as needed
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, and organizing the warehouse and work area to always maintain orderliness
• Performing other duties as requested by supervisor Physical demands:
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; lifting may be in excess of 100 repetitions per shift
• Must be able to maintain a high level of repetition in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Willingness to work overtime as needed Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

Time Management Preferred Experience:

• Forklift experience
• Basic computer skills
