Job Description

Growing small business in search of a CNC machinist and programmer to meet needs for prototyping and production. We have a flexible atmosphere, great location, and work on a wide variety of products & industries
  • goods made by us having traveled on land, to ocean, and to outerspace!
The candidate will be responsible for manufacturing components, start to finish, for industries such as aerospace, government funded research, cryogenics, rotating machinery, and power generation. We've recently moved to a nice, new location, which has air conditioning and heating throughout :) The ideal candidate will be able to grab the reigns and operate autonomously on single or short run manufacturing
  • spec'ing, programming, setup, machining, inspecting. We are looking for experienced candidates, however still encourage any interested parties to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate, but you must have a good attitude, be willing to learn, and most importantly maintain a clean & organized workspace. You will have a wide variety of equipment and tools at your disposal
  • we have various CNC machines, manual machines, and fabrication equipment operated under a small staff.
In addition to performing programming & machining, the candidate may responsible for other activities such as: shop & equipment maintenance, tooling/materials specification, and prototype assembly. We take cleanliness seriously, the candidate must work in a clean, organized and precise manner. This position is a standard day shift, operating during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. We have a flexible time policy which permits leaving at noon on Fridays. Pay will be commensurate with experience and required level of training. Health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, and retirement match plan are all available benefits after a probationary period. Additional bonuses available based on merit. We are looking for someone who is excited about making things!
Required:
  • Experience in CNC & manual milling
  • Experience in CNC & manual turning
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and programming g-code
  • Experience using measurement equipment: caliper, micrometers, pin gauges, etc...
  • Ability to understand technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excels at maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Self Motivated and able to work well in a dynamic environment
