Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packer I - Bacon Slicing, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe packaging of bacon products. Duties Operate packaging machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Perform heavy lifting and materials handling to move raw materials and finished products safely within the production area Inspect bacon slices for quality, consistency, and adherence to product specifications Use basic math skills to measure, count, and verify packaging quantities accurately Follow safety protocols diligently, including GMP regulations and safety standards in production environments Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging equipment using industrial troubleshooting techniques Maintain accurate production documentation, logs, and reports for traceability and compliance purposes Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge or troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment are advantageous Familiarity with packaging equipment, materials handling, and warehouse operations is a plus Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions precisely Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and quality checks Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is desirable Commitment to safety standards, GMP compliance, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering high-quality bacon products through energetic teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering safety commitment. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
