Part-time, 3 days/week About the Role Restorative Roots is looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our small-batch kitchen and fulfillment team.

This is a hybrid role:

you'll work as a Box Packer on Tuesdays to get our frozen orders packed and shipped, and as a Portioner on Wednesdays and Fridays to help portion product during our cook days. It's a great fit for someone who likes variety, doesn't mind physical work, and takes pride in doing things right the first time. Reliable transportation is required

Tuesday:

Box PackerResponsibilities Shift is approximately 10am-4pm Assemble shipping boxes: tape boxes, add liners, dry ice stickers, fragile/perishable stickers, and postage/packing list stickers Pack frozen SKUs into case packs Pull case packs from the freezer for the shipping line and return them once fulfillment is complete Pack boxes safely and efficiently — adding dry ice, dunnage (as needed), and marketing materials, and sealing each box properly Load packed boxes onto pallets Transfer pallets to FedEx for pickup Requirements Able to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift Comfortable handling dry ice and entering a commercial freezer

Wednesday & Friday:

Portioner Responsibilities Shift is approximately 9am-3pm Label lids in preparation for a cook Stir SKUs to bring temperature down quickly for portioning Safely and efficiently complete the portioning process Date and seal SKUs Place SKUs in the freezer Sweep and mop as part of end-of-shift cleanup Requirements Able to lift 25 lbs consistently throughout the shift General Requirements MUST have regular, reliable transportation Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen/fulfillment environment Able to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on the schedule above Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and cold environments (freezer/dry ice)

Pay:

$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 18.0 per week
