Job Description

Job Summary We're hiring a Packing and Shipping Specialist to handle the final steps of getting an order out the door. You'll pull items from stock, check them against the paperwork, and pack them securely so nothing gets damaged along the way. Some shifts move at a normal clip. Others speed up fast right before a shipping cutoff, and you're taping boxes as quick as you can manage. You'll print labels, apply them to the right packages, and stage completed orders near the dock for pickup. We often see the busiest stretch right before our afternoon pickup, so timing matters. It's a role where the workload shifts with order volume, day to day. Responsibilities Pulling stock and checking it against order paperwork Packing boxes with padding so contents stay intact Printing shipping labels and attaching them to the right boxes Scanning packages before they leave the building Staging finished orders near the loading dock Restocking tape, boxes, and labels as supplies run low Wiping down and organizing the packing station between batches Flagging damaged or incorrect items to a supervisor right away Qualifications You keep track of small details, since a missed item or wrong label can throw off an entire order. Good communication skills come in handy when you need to flag a packing problem before the truck leaves. You're comfortable using basic computer or scanning tools once you've learned how our system works. When a batch of orders comes in together, you're able to stay organized and work through them steadily. Being reliable matters here, since the shipping schedule depends on the team keeping pace and showing up on time. You're willing to learn new steps whenever the packing process gets adjusted. A positive attitude goes a long way on the days when the packing line gets a little hectic. You're a team player who pitches in wherever the shipping area needs an extra hand.
