Job Overview Knight Builders is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to support daily material preparation, packaging, and shipping activities. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to gain experience in warehouse and operations support. No previous packaging or warehouse experience is required. Training will be provided to help you learn the company's procedures and safely perform your responsibilities. Responsibilities Prepare materials, products, and supplies for shipment Pack items according to company procedures Select appropriate boxes, containers, and packaging materials Inspect products for visible damage before packaging Count and verify items before preparing orders Apply shipping and identification labels accurately Organize packaged materials in designated staging areas Assist with receiving and sorting incoming materials Help maintain organized storage and work areas Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to a supervisor Keep packaging supplies properly stocked Follow workplace safety and handling procedures Assist with loading and moving packaged materials when needed Support other warehouse and packaging tasks as assigned Requirements No previous experience required; training is provided Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good attention to detail Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new procedures Basic organizational skills Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during the workday Ability to safely handle packages and materials If you are reliable, organized, and ready to learn, we encourage you to apply for the Packaging Assistant position with Knight Builders.
