Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join a high output team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and accurately, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position plays a crucial role in the supply chain by preparing products for shipment and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Package products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Inspect items for quality assurance before packaging, identifying any defects or discrepancies. Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Report any issues or malfunctions with packaging equipment to supervisors promptly. Skills Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packaging and labeling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to packaging operations. Physical stamina to stand for long periods/ 10 hours and lift packages as required up to 50lbs. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required. Work Schedule Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM with a 30 minute lunch break. Pay $15.50 per hour. Temp to Hire with advancement opportunities and great benefits.
