Goodwin William Staffing is looking for candidates for Material Handler/Receiving to join our team and work with our client in Gordonsville, Va. The position is full-time, varying shifts. These positions require employees to use an English-language headset to perform their job duties, so candidates must be able to understand and communicate in English well enough to follow instructions through the headset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Looks up locations and retrieves order status information. Removes shrink-wrap from pallets in preparation for them to be located in the racks. Sorts books and breaks down assortments of books. Loads the induction line. Operates the Cubi-Scan to dimension size the book and carton (length, width, height, weight).

Miscellaneous Duties of All General Warehouse Employees:

Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety. Enforces established safety, health, and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize injuries, loss of production time, and damage. Conforms to all company policies and procedures (Employee Handbook). Complies with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Hourly Rate and Schedule:

$13.50 per hour / 1st Shift / 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $14.75 per hour / 2nd shift / 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
